Taylor Leigh
Taylor Leigh, a lifelong Middle Tennessee resident was born and raised just south of Nashville and has spent her entire life singing and/or involved in music and entertainment to some degree. During her early school years she spent time studying piano and guitar. She was heavily involved at her church in the youth group performing with the Praise Band, in musicals and in Christmas programs and has gone on to continue her music participation at Lipscomb University in all the available opportunities that are presented.
She was Director of Pi Delta's Cocoa & Carols 2010 fundraising event for the local food bank in addition to her own performances in the show.With previous performances in the 2010 Tau Phi Cowboy Show leading to a current project as Co-Director for the 2011 season, she will also be participating in this event as a performer this October. In March of 2010, Taylor suffered a traumatic and severe injury to her left wrist with surgeons unsure if she would ever again play music and/or guitar. She has battled back through physical therapy in her efforts to regain this vital part of her life and continues to work on regaining as much flexibility and range of motion as is possible.
